Ben Dewey started his career in High School where he earned his Certified Novel
Administrator (CNA) Certificate and worked technical support at a local ISP. From
there Ben attended Drexel University in a 5-year program that included three 6 month
Co-ops. These unique Co-op opportunities allowed Ben to continue his real world experience
and begin working on VB6, ASP, and .NET in its early phases.
Ben is currently a committer on the Apache Stonehenge project, and is actively involved
in numerous community events from speaking at local user groups and helping to organize
the ALT.NET Meetup in NYC. Ben periodically posts content on his blog which
can be found at http://www.bendewey.com/blog.
Ben is employed at twentysix New York as a Senior Software Developer where he consults
on many projects around New York City, focusing on Architecture, Silverlight, ASP.NET
and jQuery. Ben also works to develop Server Oriented Applications using WCF. Ben
strives to create SOLID application of the highest craftmanship while paying special
attention to clean User Experiences (UX).
